What is GoodTalk?

What is the difference between Coach and Touch-up?

Coach is the deeper, more guided mode for harder conversations. Touch-up is lighter and focused on grammar, clarity, and phrasing while staying close to your original message.

What does Aria do inside a chat?

Aria is the in-chat assistant you can call with @aria. It can use the conversation context already on screen to help with ideas, perspective, planning, and quick judgment calls.

Do I need to share my phone number to connect with someone?

No. GoodTalk supports several connection paths, including phone-based discovery, @username, and contact matching.

Is Coach available on the free version?

Coach is part of the Premium experience. The free version still includes messaging plus limited access to Touch-up and Aria.

How do Premium and billing work?

Premium unlocks the fuller GoodTalk experience, including Coach and more AI room. Billing, renewals, cancellations, trials, and refunds are handled through the App Store.

What should I include when reporting a bug?

Include what you were trying to do, what happened instead, whether it happens every time, any error message, and your device model and iOS version if relevant.

How does GoodTalk handle AI-assisted messages?

When you use Coach, Touch-up, or call @aria, relevant message content may be processed to return the AI-assisted response. You should review suggestions before sending and read the Privacy Policy for more detail.
